Bio
Michelle was born and raised in new York where she attended Bay Academy Junior High School and then went on to graduate from Notre Dame High School with awards in Social Studies and Religion. Michelle started acting at an early age, appearing in commercials from the age of 3 and landing recurring role in children’s TV show The Adventures of Pete and Pete. She went on to appear in the daytime soap All My Children alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar and the two became firm friends.
Michelle stared in two films, Harriet The Spy and Inspector Gadget before landing the role of Buffy’s younger sister, Dawn, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Since Buffy ended, Michelle has continued to find work both in film and television, starring in Eurotrip and Ice Princess as well as appearances on shows such as House, Weeds, Criminal Minds, Gossip Girl and most recently Sleepy Hollow and Guidance.
When not working Michelle enjoys swimming, ice skating and writing poems.
Trivia
Michelle remained friends with Sarah Michelle Gellar from their time on All My Children and became a huge fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It was Sarah who introduced Michelle to Joss Whedon when she brought her to the set.
Michelle is of Russian and German descent and speaks fluent Russian.
