Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D
NIck Blood was born in Aylesbury, England and started acting at the age of 7 when he joined his local drama club and subsequently attended The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
His first break came on long running London police drama, The Bill where he appeared in a two-episode story in 2009. He continued to work in the UK both in television where he appeared in such shows as Misfits and Trollied, and also in theatre where he formed his own theatre company called We Buy Gold, with friend Tom McCall. Their first production, Inches Apart, was co-written by Nick and was nominated and won the Vic New Voices Theatre 503 Award. Amongst his other theatre appearances were as original The Beatles member, Stuart Sutcliffe in Backbeat which ran for 5 months at the Duke of York Theatre in London. During his time with the production he learned to play bass guitar and then joined a band, Shaaark.
Nick joined the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for Season Two where he stayed as a main cast member until he and his co-star Adrianne Palicki were written out during season three in order to star in spin-off, Marvel’s Most Wanted, which sadly never got picked up.
Nick made a return to S.H.I.E.L.D. in Season Five as a guest star.
