James Stephens was born in Mt Kisco, New York. He first appeared on our screens in 1978 when he appeared in two episode of How the West Was Won.
He then worked consistently, guest starring on numerous TV shows including St. Elsewhere, the original 21 Jump Street, Cagney & Lacey, Moonlighting, L.A Law, several episode of Murder, She Wrote, and had recurring roles in The Paper Chase, and Father Dowling Mysteries, before guest starring as Dr Weirick on Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
