Amazon have announced that Samuel L. Jackson will be the first celebrity voice available on Alexa in a new feature to be made available as an upgrade.

Using text-to-speech technology which can mimic voices, Samuel can “tell you jokes. Let you know if it’s raining, set timers and alarms, play music and more – all with a bit of his own personality”. For the bargain price of 99cents he will be available in two versions, explicit and non-explicit for the bargain price of 99cents.

Other celebrity voices will be available from next year!
