Bio

Elizabeth Olsen, known as Lizzie, was born in Shermon Oaks to Jarnette and David Olsen, a personal manager and real estate developer respectively. She has two older twin sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who are also actresses, an older brother, Trent, and two younger half-siblings.

As a child, Elizabeth enjoyed ballet classes, singing lessons and sports and spent time on the set of her older sisters’ TV show, appearing in some episodes. Although she had an interesting in acting, appearing in TV movie, How the West Was Fun and an episode of Full House when she just 5 and 6, she decided to graduate from Campbell Hall School in North Hollywood first and then went on to study a New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts ad the Atlantic Theater Company.

Elizabeth next appear on our scenes in 2011 where she appear in 3 films, including her break role of Martha in Martha Marcy May Marlene. Since that time she has worked consistently appearing in mainly independent movies until she joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in as Wanda Maxmoff aka Scarlet Witch. Her first appearance as part of the MCU was in an uncredited post-credits scene in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, before her real debut in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Elizabeth has appeared in a total of 5 MCU movies, with her 6th, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, currently filming and set for a 2022 release. Her character now has her own MCU TV Show for Disney+, WandaVision, which will premiere 15 January 2021.
