It was six months of sitting in class and not getting up to do one thing when Joanne had said to me, “Although I think you can learn almost as much sitting and watching, you can’t learn what you have to unless you get up and act. You have to work today.” When I got up that first time, she saw something in me that not even I saw in myself. That day was the beginning for me. I knew I would do it for the rest of my life. I never thought I’d be successful like this, but I knew I found my home.

“I think Simmons is ready,” Henstridge shared. “I think Simmons is just semi-retired right now. So for her, it probably wouldn’t take very much.

Usually, our cast would watch the season premiere together an then the finale all together. We’d go to Mo [Tancharoen] and Jed’s [Whedon] house and we’d watch it. This year we weren’t able to do that and so it just felt like the right choice to watch it on Zoom in public. And it just allowed for so many great conversations and reminiscing.

I mean, my ultimate goal would be to direct a huge Marvel movie and a huge superhero movie, but I would also act in anything that they do, voice anything that they do. I have absolutely loved working for and with Marvel.

If people share a smile and share Smile Train with one other person, whether you can donate any moeny or not, that’s brillaint. That’s the whole point. We wamt to help spread the word and if people feel able to donate then that’s wonderful, too. I just know that anything you can donate will make a huge, huge difference.”

I think 2020 has been such a moment to reflect for basically everybody in the world. And it just made me realize how privileged I was. And we are, to know so many amazing people in the film industry. I really wanted a space to be able to share the stories of everybody that has worked on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and what that process is like, and hopefully to inspire people to be able to do it too.

“Visibility equals possibility for me,” Day tells the Hollywood Reporter, “so you never know when you’ll stumble upon someone who really inspires you t take a leap in designing a board game or becoming a voiceover artist – it’s so important to be exposed to it, because often ideas don’t occurs to us as people unless we sense the possibility of it.”

“I don’t take life for granted, I would love to live in a way where I leave very little behind,” she says. “I want my children to be able to enjoy the planet the same I have and I don’t know if they’ll be able to and I personally don’t understand bow people can have the mentality where it shouldn’t be a top priority.”

I had a dream of becoming an actress. I’d know this was what I wanted to do since I was nine years old, when I’d played Mowgli in a school production of The Jungle Book. The applause, the connection with the audience… I truly felt I belonged.

With Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s series finale coming up, Clark Gregg’s 12-year journey through the Marvel Cinematic Universe is over, at least for now – and what a ride it’s been. From helping kick off the MCU in Iron Man and getting a big-screen death scene in The Avengers to leading the members of S.H.I.E.L.D. for seven seasons on ABC, Gregg’s Phil Coulson has pretty much seen and done it all, and managed to become one of the most popular characters in the MCU along the way.

While it seems unlikely that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s final episode will actually be the last time that we see Coulson – hey, he’s survived worse – we took the time to chat with Gregg as he reflected on his time in the MCU, and discussed a little bit about what he;s doing next. Here’s what he had to say.
