Little Brown Books has acquired the official rights for a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer middle-grade book series. The series will be written by cartoonist Carolyn Newark and the stories will be told through comics, journal entries, class notes, doodles, text messages and other mediums. The first book, New School Nightmare, is due for release September 2018.
