Anthony Stewart Head Becomes Official Ambassador for Battersea Dogs Home

Anthony Stewart Head and his long term partner and animal behaviorist, Sarah Fisher have today become official ambassadors for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, a charity which they have both been closely involved in for many years.

Anthony has voiced many of Battersea’s appeal videos and has also performed readings at fundraising events such as Christmas Carol Concert and at the Collars & Coats Gala Ball. Sarah, meanwhile, has worked in all three of the charity;s centres offering advice to staff and volunteers and training staff in the use of the Tellington Touch method. A training method that helps keep dogs calm and relaxed.

Speaking of the appointment, Battersea’s chief executive, Claire Horton said, “We are thrilled to welcome Sarah and Anthony in such an official and important capacity into the Battersea family. Both have worked tirelessly for two decades to promote and help Battersea in their respective fields and we are so grateful for their incredible support. We are so excited that our dear friends Anthony and Sarah are now official ambassadors for Battersea. They already own Battersea dogs and it’s wonderful to know we can look forward to an even closer connection and relationship in the future. All of us here at Battersea would like to offer them a very warm welcome and we know they will continue to offer tireless support for our dogs and cats in the years to come.”
