Alyson Hannigan is currently shooting an independent movie in Vancouver alongside Mia Sorvino. Dodie & Cheryl Get Hitched, written and directed by Coley Sohn, is “an offbeat comedy about to small town lesbians who decide to tie the know and the ugly swell of hypocrisy they have to contend with.”

Alyson plays Cheryl Shook, a second grade teacher, and Mia Sorvina plays her long-term partner and bowling alley manager, Dodie Pickering. The two live a quiet life and are accepted by the community because they keep their relationship to themselves, it is only when they decided to get married that the problems start.
