Steven DeKnight has been confirmed to direct Pacific Rim 2, the follow up to Guillermo del Toro and Travis Beacham’s 2013 film. The script has been written by Jon Spaights and will be released by Universal in 3D. This will be DeKnight’s first feature film as a director.
