Bio
Mercedes was born and lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada until the age of 9, when she moved with her parents (father Bob McNab was a former professional footballer for UK club Arsenal) to Los Angeles. Here she landed her first role at the age of 10 in the The Adams Family and would later also appear in the sequel, Addams Family Values.
Mercedes made several appearances in movies such as The Fantastic Four (1994) and guest starred in series including My So-Called Life before landing the role of Harmony in the unnaired pilot of Buffy. Like several other female cast members she had originally auditioned for the role of Buffy. Her character recurred regularly over five seasons of Buffy, and guest starred in season 2 of Angel before returning as a regular character on Angel in its fifth and final season.
During this time she also returned to school between 2001 and 2003, during which time she also managed to score guest appearances in Dawson’s Creek and Boston Public, which also starred Angel co-star Sarah Thompson.
Since Angel ended, she has continued to work in both films and TV, notably guest starring in Reaper, Supernatural (where she also played a vampire) and Criminal Minds as well as films, Hatchet and Hatchet II.
