According to film critic and You Tuber, John Campea, Marvel Studios have been in talks with Joss Whedon regarding a reboot of Fantastic Four. It is not known what direction these talks have been taking, whether it is for a consultation role or writer/director.

Updated 10/05/2020: We Got This Covered now report that their (reliable) sources have confirmed that Joss has been in talks with Kevin Feige and other MCU key players regarding three different movies, the Fantastic Four reboot, Nova (a Guardians of the Galaxy (spin-off), and A-Force (the all female Avengers spin-off.
