J. August Richards (Angel, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) has been cast as a recurring character in a new series for HBO, Generation. The series is a “dark yet playful half-hour following a group of high school students whose exploration of modern sexuality (devices and all) tests deeply entrenched beliefs about life, love and the nature of family in their conservative community.”

The series has been created by father and daughter team, Daniel and Zelda Barnz and will be produced by Lena Dunham.
