Speaking to The Wrap at the Television Critics Association press tour on Friday (8th February 2019), HBo Programming Chief Casey Boys, gave an update on their progress with Joss Whedon’s TV show with them, The Nevers:

Here is what he said:

“We just started. [Joss] has been writing. It’s very exciting. He’s great to work with. We’ve just started talking about names, starting auditions, things like that. So we’re just starting.”

The Nevers is a sci-fi drama about “a gang of Victorian women who find themselves with unusual abilities” and will be written and executive produced by Joss who will also serve as showrunner.
