Fran Kranz joins Idris Elba and Matthew McConaughey in Sony’s new adaptation of Stephen King’s The Dark Tower. The film tells the story of a wandering knight, plated by Idris Elba, who is charged with finding the Dark Tower while battling his nemesis the Man in Black, played by Matthew McConaughey. Fran will play Pimli, the Man in Black’s right-hand man.

The film will be directed by Nikolaj Arcei and produced by Imagine Entertaiment.
