Marvel have today confirmed that Edward James Olmos will join the cast of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as a major recurring character when it returns in March. The former Battlestar Galactica actor will pay Robert Gonzales, whose presence will have “massive repercussions for Director Coulson and his team.

Jeph Loeb, Head of Marvel Television and Executive producer said “Edward James Olmos brings an amazing gravitas to any role he inhabits, something we knew we needed for Robert Gonzales. When Olmos first appears on our series, everyone will have to take notice – including our favourite Agents.”
