Drew Goddard will write and direct, Deadpool/X-Men spinoff, X-Force.
Deadpool 2 set up the premise for an X-Force movie and Ryan Reynolds, Josh Brolin and Zazie Beetz (Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Nathan Summers/Cale and Domino respectively) are confirmed to reprise their roles in the new movie.
X-Force debuted in the Marvel Comics Universe in 1991 featuring many characters from previous series, New Mutants. X-Force was a spin-off from X-Men but the team were more of a militaristic strikeforce than their fellow mutant superhero team. The team were originally lead by Cable and Deadpool joined the team in a 2010 reincarnation of the comic, Uncanny X-Force.
The movie storyline according to IMDB runs “A time-traveler assembles a team of mutants in order to prevent the wrecked future he came from”. No release date has yet been announced.
