Dave Kirby was a Sunnydale High School student and one of the top students in computer science class.
When the demon Moloch is released from the book he was bound to and into the internet, he recruits Dave and his friend Fritz as his followers. Dave baulks however, when asked to lure Buffy into the showers and electrocute her. When he learns of Dave’s betrayal, Moloch fakes a writes out a suicide note for Dave and has his other follower, Fritz murder him. Buffy finds Fritz hanging in the computer science room alongside a fake suicide note.
