Alyson Hannigan has been cast alongside Ben Schwarts (Parks and Recreation) in an adaptation of Katie DiCamillo’s novel, Flora and Ulysses: The Illumimated Adventures, for Disney’s upcoming streaming service, Disney+.

The book tells the tale of “imaginative, creative and cynical” Flora who, after saving a squirrel from an accidents finds that it has turned into a superhero with powers of strength and misspelled poetry. Alyson will play Flora’s mother, Phyliss.
