Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancheroen recently confoirmed that events in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will connect with the forthcoming Avengers movoe, Age of Ultron. The series has already given nods to Thor: The Dark World and Gardians of the Galaxy as well as being massively affected by events in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, so it should come as no surprise that it would tie in with the next film in the franchise.

Showrunners, Jed and Maurissa weren’t giving anything away as to what the link will be or how large of an impact it will have,

“You should expect something, The Avengers is the big tent that all the franchises play under. Obviously, we’re included in that”

Jed confirmed, whilst Maurissa clarified:

“I don’t think any movie has the potential to impact us in the way that Captain America 2 did, but there will be connections.”
