Earlier today, a huge press conference for the highly-anticipated film Avengers: Age of Ultron took place at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. All of the stars from the film showed up including: Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, James Spader, Paul Bettany and Cobie Smulders, as well as writer/director Joss Whedon and Marvel Studio president Kevin Feige, who all took part in the conference. The cast still remained tight-lipped about any future plans or even giving away anything from the upcoming film, even though most of the media that were present, seen the film already. Jeremy Renner even joked that he felt like he would get shot if he talked about it. Nuke the Fridge’s Chris Salce was there to give you the run down on how it all went. Here are some of the highlights of the press conference.

Cobie Smulders revealed that in Age of Ultron, her character Msria Hilli s a partner of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.). They work together on security. Maria Hill has a “much bigger job now” and “no longer has S.H.I.E.L.D. at her disposal.”

Paul Bettany (Vision) was asked how it feels like to be more than just a voice this time around. Bettany joked that this time, he actually had to show up and even at press junkets.

Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) was asked to talk about what he was hoping to see his character evolve in into the film and his reaction to having a greater role. After joking about if he could talk about the film or not and being scared that he would be shot if he did, he saud, “well…I speak in this movie which is awesome.” The whole theater bursted out with laughter. He continued by saying that he “got to dive into some really killer aspects.”

Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) was asked about the changes her character Black Widow goes through in the film. Johansson said that Black Widow realizes that she has a much bigger calling and that by the end of the movie, there’s many directions that Black Widow can go in.

Mark Ruffalo (Hulk) was asked to talk about Bruce Banner’s evolution in the film. Buffalo joked that he was helped out by the fact that he was “green and huge”, to help the distinction between the two characters and then he said “I’m done,” laughed it off, and was actually really done with answering the question, which was pretty hilarious.

One journalist asked if they had to talk to the Rosso brothers or Gunn about what they can and can’t do with the characters, due to what the characters would have gong on in Age of Ultron. Whedon had requested that both Hulk and Hawkeye to be left out of any phase 2 films due to “very big plans for those two characters [in Age of Ultron].” He also had to ask James Gunn to pull back on Thanos a bit for Guardians of the Galaxy. He though he should be threaded in more gently.

Whedon was also asked why the armor designed that contains the Hulk, called Veronica, Whedon replied, Well, I used to be in a love with a girl named Betty and that is the total opposite of that. This also brought laughter throughout the whole theater.

Probably the most hilarous part of the press conference belonged to Robert Downey Jr. (of course). When he was finally asked a question he said “Let me just say that the next time I’m not asked the first question, I’m going to F***ing lose it!”

The whole cast was in really good playful spirits. The whole conference they were just joking around with each other and the media in attendance. There was really no juicy scopes here since the cast is pretty great at not talking too much about any future plans for their characters and the MCU. By now, you could expect that remaining tight-lipped is just second nature to them. It’s an Avengers thing.

Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron hits theaters May 1.
