Joss Whedon is in talks to write, direct and produce a Batgirl movie which will be part of Warner Brothers’ DC Extended Universe. The movie is rumoured to feature Commissioner Gordon’s daughter, Barbara Gordon as Batgirl who first appeared as Batgirl in the 1967 comic, “The Million Dollar Debut of Batgirl!”, however, they will use the “New 52” version of the character first seen in 2011.
