J August Richards has been cast alongside Sarah Wayne Callis (Prison Break, The Walking Dead), in a pilot for NBC, Council of Dads. The show, based on the memoirs of Bruce Feiler, follows terminally ill Scott Perry, his family and their unique close circle of friends.

J will play Dr. Oliver Post, “an esteemed oncologist and surgeon”.
