11 January 2010: Book of Short Stories to be Released
Although the chances of seeing the crew of the good ship Serenity in any live action adventures grows ever slimmer, they will live on in an official book of short stories that is being put together by Titan Books. The collection of stories will be written by some of the show's writers, including Jane Espenson. Here;s what she had say speaking to Sci Fi Wire:
"I'm writing a short story set in the Firefly universe that someone's putting together. Titan Books is putting together a collection written by various of the Firefly writers. But [it's a] very short story, ... 2,000 words. I just came up with a very clever little short story that involves Kaylee and Wash, two characters that we haven't seen together that much."
There is currently no release date for the book, but watch this space for futher information.
