The nominations for the 2016 Oscars have been announced and two Whedonverse alumni feature.

Mark Ruffalo has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Spotlight” and Drew Goddard has been nominated for Writing (Adapted Screenplay) for “The Martian”.

The Oscars will take place on 28th February 2016.
